Funding for this program comes from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, donations and proceeds from the Associates Annual Not-So-Silent Auction. Applicants are required to complete a single page essay describing how they have achieved their educational goals and other accomplishments while coping with asthma.
