Associates to the AAAAI:  Asthma Scholarship Program Award of Excellence

The Associates to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (Spouses and Friends) was organized in 1982 to support the work of the AAAAI and advance patient education through a variety of programs. The Associates established The Award of Excellence Scholarship Program to provide college scholarships for asthmatic students. This scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors only.

The Awards

The Associates present Award of Excellence Asthma Scholarships to graduating high school seniors with asthma in the United States and Canada. Each scholarship is a one-time grant. Scholarship monies may be used or applied only to pay for tuition, books and fees for a bona fide course of instruction at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university or accredited technical or vocational college or school. Scholarships must be used within three years of notification to the winner of the scholarship award.

If the winner is unable to use the entire scholarship for any reason, all remaining money will be retained by the Associates to the AAAAI (Spouses and Friends) for future scholarships at the discretion of the organization.
